The Tuscan artist, who boasts numerous exhibitions in museums and Land Art installations in Italy, transmits his emotions through the delicacy and, at the same time, the strength of his works. The colors of majolica, stoneware and stylized forms are the distinctive features of his elegant sculptures that come to life, imbued with Mediterraneanness.
The Tyrrhenian Sea, the south-west wind, the Tuscan lands, the Piombino promontory become accomplices of Deborah Ciolli while she creates her majolica and her stoneware.
On this occasion She dedicated himself to the female universe: her flautists, pandores, warrior women took inspiration from mythology, from literature, from actuality and made the atmosphere bucolic, sometimes even worthy of Pan and to quote the words of Michele Pierleoni of the "fanciullino di pascoliana memoria".
The exhibition, curated by Gioia Quicquaro, art historian, will be inaugurated on Saturday 8 June at 6 pm and will be open until 6 July every day at the La Mongolfiera Art Gallery in via Roma 50 in Sanremo, from 9.30 am to 12.30 pm and from 15.45 to 19.45, except Monday mornings and holidays.
