"If hearts rain down from the sky, I would only pick up yours" is the title of the personal exhibition of Francesco Musante who will exhibit his works in Sanremo for the first time.
The exhibition, curated by Gioia Quicquaro, aims to transport the visitor inside the artist's world, letting the mind go free through the vision of paintings, graphics and theater. In his works full of imagination and creativity, Musante conquers and surprises continuously through his stories populated by characters elegantly dressed in the tuba on his head, saxophonists, circus, sirens and railwaymen, thieves of moons and ships from the puffing smokestack. Within the works of Musante we also find references to Chagall, Miro, Picasso, Hickmet, Neruda, Montale, Ungaretti who become important accomplices of the artist.
Among the main Ligurian living artists, the famous Genoese artist has exhibited in Italy and abroad internationally; he is also the author of illustrated books, he collaborated lending his "characters" to the realization of the initials and scenographies of the Zelig television show in 2007 and in 2011 he also realized the sketches and scenographies for the Bohème of the Teatro Carlo Felice of Genoa.
The inauguration, to which the artist will be present, will be held on December 2nd at 6 pm, at the La Mongolfiera Art Gallery in Sanremo.
The exhibition will be open until January 7, 2018, every day from 9.30 to 12.30 and from 15.30 to 19.30, except Monday morning and holidays.
