Negri Tonino

Tonino Negri was born in Lodi in 1961. He trained as a ceramist and sculptor attending the workshops of artisans and artists, including Gianni Vigorelli and Marcello Chiarenza.
His personal research finds spaces for evolution and deepening through travels in Italy and abroad, which confront him with different traditions and innovative paths. Exhibits since the eighties, collaborating with known galleries. He also works in the theatrical field, signing direction and set design, especially in the square, and creates large-scale installations in urban spaces, parks and churches. In 1993 he founded the "Bottega del Respiro" at the "Il Gabbiano" community in Pieve Fissiraga. In 2009 he created the "Grande Arca" for the monastic community of Bose by Padre Enzo Bianchi. One of his works is in the collection of the Pecci Museum in Prato.
