Sara Lovari was born in 1979 in Avena di Poppi (AR), after a degree in economics she moved to England and made her debut as an artist in 2007, followed by a series of collective and personal exhibitions, both Italian and foreign, she is in fact a finalist for the prestigious award Arte Mondadori in 2014, winner of new proposals at the Adrenalina prize in Rome in 2014, while he was a finalist in the Catel Prize in 2015, the Scuderie Aldobrandini Museum in Frascati again in 2015 has a solo exhibition at the Museum of the Etruscan Academy of Cortona entitled “Les objects ", In October of the same year she won a scholarship at the University of Oklaoma (USA) with Art Residence Norman USA where she performed a cycle of works" on site "on the theme of travel. In 2016 she won the Gold Adrenalina-Rome award, in 2017 she is present at the Hurricane Biennial at the National Weather Center in Oklahoma City (USA).
His works are distinguished by warm colors inspired by the earth and nature, for the multi-material applications that dialogue on ancient and precious supports such as nineteenth-century books and geographical maps, giving life to a painting and assemblage very appreciated by critics, public and collectors of all world.

[...] Sara Lovari is interested in representing the narrative effects produced by the desiring force on the world, through her works of pictorial sculpture, they are presented as "small stories or figurative poems", which speak the language of cultured and refined painting, " the very moment when desire meets reality ". The sculptures of the Casentino artist put on display paper objects and materials that recall ancient souvenirs of travelers from distant lands almost as if they were reproducing thoughts as abstract as they are concrete, which give life to a material narrative and archetypal traits. Together, these styles give life to a dialogue about the nature of the body, the desire and the imagination of their productive power.
